One of the kids won’t eat a meal if its got onions in it. My answer to this is to slice the onions really fine so the bugger can’t see them. I was doing this last night and managed to cut my thumb with the knife I had just sharpened, so it was the sort of cut where you’re frightened to look..
I managed to get a couple of elastoplasts round it but the blood was still leaking out the sides. I said that someone would have to finish the meal.
Stephanie my 14 yr old said she would sort it. She returned from the kitchen with a plastic food bag, put it over my hand and taped it to my wrist. “You can finish cooking now; me and Mum are watching Big Brother.”

I would have been worried that the little ones would have found out your secret onion plan going in to the kitchen to finish off! imagine if they discoverd your true intentions of balencing their diet!
