It Lives!!!
Got the kids new pc built up and running after an unexpected day off workyesterday , so took a few quick pics with my phone...
        Got to fit the new fans and wire them in, resist the temptation of an OcUK brushed aluminium slot loading blueray drive  and we should be good to go.

Looking good!
Only thing I would say is that the Lycosa keyboards are utterly horrendous to try and use in the daylight, even with the backlighting on. Can barely make out the letters. I bought one, and got so hacked off with it that I punted it on ebay and bought a Logitech G15 instead. And Jenks is right, it's way to good for the kids!

reaper, these are teenage boys, often seen lurking in darkened bedrooms with closed curtains, i'm hoping that won't be an issue!
. And yes, its prolly a bit of an overkill but i bought the bits over the space of a few months (some new, some used) and actually got my arse into gear to sell on some of my old tat to put towards it as well, damn, i've even bought myself a Q6600 and mobo and ram with some of the spare, its about time the old Skt939 system had an upgrade, and seeing as X2 4600+'s are making £100 on evilbay at the moment, why not!!!. Should last them a few years now though...hopefully with the next upgrade one of them might have a job and can contribute towards the costs.
